O-SEA CrossFit helps young athletes build movement quality, strength, confidence, and character in a safe, closely supervised, and genuinely fun environment.

Building young athletes the right way

Kids and teens are not small adults, and they should not train like them. Our youth coaching focuses first on moving well, then on building age-appropriate strength and confidence. The goal is a young person who enjoys training, moves with control, and carries good habits into any sport or activity.

Safe, supervised, and fun

Every youth session is coached and closely supervised. We scale everything to the individual and never program maximal lifting or anything inappropriate for a growing body. Training should build kids up physically and mentally, and it should be something they look forward to.

Our youth classes

  • Squirt Guns, ages 5 to 8: Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:00 to 3:45pm
  • Young Guns, ages 13 to 17: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:45 to 4:45pm

No experience and no consultation are needed to start youth classes. Just reach out and we will get your young athlete set up in the right group.

What ages do you coach?

We coach two youth groups: Squirt Guns for ages 5 to 8 (Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:00 to 3:45pm) and Young Guns for ages 13 to 17 (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:45 to 4:45pm). No experience is needed to start.

Is CrossFit safe for kids?

Yes, when it is properly coached and scaled. Our focus is movement quality and age-appropriate development with close supervision and no maximal lifting.

Does my child need to be athletic already?

Not at all. Youth coaching meets each child where they are and builds from there.
