Do I need to be fit to start CrossFit?
No. You get fit by starting. Every workout is scaled to your level, and most members begin with no CrossFit experience at all. Our beginner on-ramp brings you in safely.
Is O-SEA CrossFit beginner friendly?
Very. O-SEA is known for being welcoming. Coaches teach you the movements, scale every workout, and look after you from your very first class.
What is an on-ramp?
It is our guided introduction for new members. You learn the foundational movements and how scaling works before you join regular classes, so you start with confidence instead of confusion.
How do I get started?
Book a free consultation through our contact page or call us. We will show you around, answer your questions, and recommend the right starting point. We take it from there.
How class actually works
What does a class look like?
About an hour. A coach leads a warm-up, teaches or refines the day's movements, then runs the workout, scaling it for each person in the room, and finishes with a cool-down. You are coached the whole way, never left to figure it out alone.
What if I cannot do a movement yet?
Every movement has a scaled version. Your coach gives you a version you can do safely and effectively today, then progresses you over time. You are never thrown into something beyond you.
Do you coach kids and teens?
Yes. We coach young athletes with a focus on movement, strength, confidence, and character, under close supervision and with no maximal lifting.
Hours, location, and drop-ins
What are your hours and class times?
We run coached CrossFit classes Monday through Friday at 5am, 6am, 9am, 12pm, and 5pm, and Saturday at 9am. We are closed Sunday. Personal sessions are also available by appointment.
How much does it cost?
We will share current membership options when you reach out and recommend the best starting point for your goals. A free consultation is the quickest way to get exact details.
Can I drop in while visiting San Clemente?
Yes. Experienced CrossFit athletes are welcome to drop in. Reach out ahead of time and see our drop-in page for details.
